Hi, I’m Keith Owens, and my interest in photography began in the mid 2000s with my first DSLR camera. What started with photographing my puppy and discovering the beautiful depth and background blur a camera lens could create quickly developed into a genuine passion for photography. After several years away from the hobby, I rediscovered my enthusiasm when searching for higher quality images than those produced by my GoPro and drone. Returning to my Nikon DSLR reignited my interest and inspired me to continue developing both my technical knowledge and creative approach.
Since then, I have invested in professional Nikon equipment and spent countless hours learning, practising and refining my skills. I enjoy photographing a wide range of subjects, including landscapes, nightscapes, wildlife, equine events and sport. While I still consider myself to be at the beginning of my photographic journey, this website showcases a selection of my favourite images captured along the way, including the blood moon photograph featured on this page, taken in Egypt shortly after moonrise at sunset.
I am an amateur photographer rather than a commercial one, and I have never personally charged for my photography. My aim is simply to share images that people enjoy enough to display in their homes or workplaces while also giving something back. For that reason, all proceeds from image sales or photography services will be donated to charities and good causes.
This website is still in its early stages, with an online store planned for the future. In the meantime, please feel free to browse the gallery and contact me if you are interested in purchasing an image or discussing a photoshoot.
